It was hard to believe someone like him excelled with anything. But when the dragons came, and Oki was forced to pick warriors, he had to admit Cheng's skill with the spear. At first, the drunk was paired with Kiet, but once Kashikoi (or Ashi, as she seemed to prefer), spotted his stubble, she laid claim to him. ... In fact, she pounced on him.

Now, someone with the emotional baggage Cheng carries was not likely to get along with someone as seemingly peppy as Ashi. And though when he was drunk, they got along fine, her first encounter with him sober was not nearly as pleasant, leading to her running off, and returning late at night to find him, thankfully, drunk once more.

It's worth noting that Cheng has been sexually used by Ashi a remarkable number of times in her short time in Wep'keer.

And it's also worth noting that Cheng didn't mind any of them.

There came a point in which a group was forced to infiltrate the Lunar Realm. Cheng chose to participate, hoping for the chance to kill his brother. When they did find him, paired with Corbeau, and waiting for the group, Cheng went right for his sibling. Ashi attempted to stop him, and he attempted to strike her instead. When he finally got the chance to thrust a spear through Zhi's heart, he paused, and then instead threw it into Corbeau, who had been threatening the rest of the group. Zhi returned the favor by striking a few members of the group with poison darts, and he slunk off. Cheng, one of those struck, was able to recover thanks to quick work from Ashi and Kiyoko.

After returning home to Wep'keer, Cheng punished himself for not being able to murder his sibling. He was drunk constantly, ill in mind and body. It got worse when he learned that Mitsu and Mika had been taken by Zhi, back to the Lunar Realm. He thought them dead, and blamed himself for their loss, as he had been too weak to kill the bastard behind it.

They returned, however, and Cheng improved rapidly, thanks to a lesser load of grief on his heart, and constant help from Ashi.

Maybe he'll recover completely, in time.

Name: Cheng.

Race: Oina.

Build: Buff, but with a bit of a beer gut, though exercise keeps it small.
Hair: Silver. Facial and body hair(a rarity in the Oina) is black.
Eyes: Muted red.
Mask: Hummingbird.

Breed: Hyena.
Build: Powerful, though the thick muscle makes him slow.
Appearance: Dark brown fur, black underside, going all the way to the tip of his thin tail. Silver mane going down just past his shoulders.

Mate: Long-term 'dating' status with Kashikoi.

Friends: Kashikoi, though not entirely by choice.

Mental

Personality: The town drunk. Most of the time he's passed out in his home, or stumbling around town. This habit comes from a deep sense of shame and disgust, for being related to Zhi. When he's sober, he tends to be very angry, though he rarely means what he says when he snaps. Inwardly, he's very loving, but he rarely gives that a chance to show through, out of fear of becoming like his older brother.
