It was quite a predicament Kirtana found herself in. All her life, she had worshiped the Celestials, chosen people of the Great Mother, and had prayed that there were survivors amoung them. But when survivors were found, she faced a bit of a dilemma. They all seemed.. to enjoy the same sex. Kirtana wasn't against this morally, of course, she followed the will of the Great Mother, and Her support was obvious. But for some reason, when she saw two people of the same sex carress eachother, it made her heart race, made her panic. She couldn't explain the reason behind it, though she tried to figure it out for a very long time.
When one of the Celestials, Koi, whose preference for women was obvious, was in need of aid, it was hard for Kirtana, but she pushed past her fear, to help raise the bastard children Yukio had left Koi with. But she couldn't accept the advances made on her. Not yet.
There was someone's advance she could not refuse however. Amaterasu. The Great Mother, through.. unknown means, struck Kirtana with child, though her fears of homosexuality were not eased.
