"I can feel the night beginning,
Separate me from the living.
Understanding me,
After all I've seen.
Piecing every thought together,
Find the words to make me better.
If I only knew how to pull myself apart.
All that I'm living for,
All that I'm dying for,
All that I can't ignore alone at night.
All that I'm wanted for,
Although I wanted more.
Lock the last open door, my ghosts are gaining on me.
I believe that dreams are sacred.
Take my darkest fears and play them
Like a lullaby,
Like a reason why.
Like a play of my obsessions,
Make me understand the lesson,
So I'll find myself,
So I won't be lost again."

She probably could have predicted the envy that would come her way. From the time she was old enough to understand, she knew that she was an oddity. Her mother had been attempting to have twins, and instead had given birth to a single child, holding two stones. Though her power was still that of a normal Chalcedoni, others.. couldn't see that. Were jealous of what was nothing more then a defect. She could have predicted that. Easily.
What she couldn't predict, was what lengths they would go to, in their jealousy. While training one day, shifting back and forth between dimensions, and working on her bond with Chronos, some peculiar happened. She began to feel ill. However, intent on gaining strength, she ignored it and pushed on with her practice. This would be what doomed her. Her sick feeling was borne of poison, and, while in a dimension adjacent to the living plane, her body failed. She died that day.
But the location of her death would prevent her from passing on. Amaterasu's heaven could not be reached from where she was. So her soul, out of the body that had held it, existed on. But unfortunately, this soul was lacking the strength of her living body, and could no longer move between planes. She was trapped in her isolation. Nothing in the living plane could be touched by her, she would pass through anything without feeling. Only Chronos was left to her.
Years passed after her death, and during this time, she was investigating. Her body, now buried in the core of the meteor, but accessible to someone who could pass trough stone without trouble, was investigated. How had the poison entered her system? This was the first question. Then, to find out who had access to whatever the entrance had been. Her food? A needle? The point in it was... lost, in her mind. She could hardly punish who had done this to her, though perhaps she could report it to Sarutahiko.
As time passed on, she began to lose hope that she would ever find her killer.
