"All around me are familiar faces,
Worn out places, worn out faces.
Bright and early for their daily races,
Going nowhere, going nowhere.
And I find it kinda funny,
I find it kinda sad.
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had.
I find it hard to tell you,
I find it hard to take.
When people run in circles,
It's a very, very mad world."
- Mad World; Gary Jules

When Nori was born, there was a state of pure confusion. While both her parents had darker skin, she was as pale as the snow, with hair to match. But she was not albino, her eyes were proof of that, as they were the eyes of her parents. Why then did she look the way she did? And why did she act the way she did?
Even young, her lack of emotional display was evident. Rarely ever did she smile, she seemed distant from everything. As though she were seeing things through different eyes.
And in a way, she was. The prophetic power of Waka was purer in her. More concentrated. More controllable.
And more desirable.
Even from a young age, she would know what fate had in store for her. She knew the sufferings she would one day be forced to live with.
She knew Tsao would come for her.
